Overview
Welcome to the Mountain Food Tour,its a combination of sightseeing + nature and food , where we'll be exploring the rich culinary traditions of Oman's majestic mountains! Our first stop is an Omani breakfast "take away" of crepe bread with Oman's chips and cheese, served with a steaming cup of tea to start your day off right.
Next, we'll make a quick photo stop at the breathtaking Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Oman's most iconic landmarks. From there, we'll make our way to Jabal Shams, also known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, where we'll take in stunning views of the canyon from a viewpoint.
Next, we'll visit an Omani house, where you'll have the opportunity to learn about traditional Omani architecture and culture. Then, it's time for lunch! We'll enjoy a live BBQ on rocks, featuring locally sourced meats and vegetables cooked to perfection.
After lunch, we'll head to an Omani sweet shop to sample some delicious halwa, a traditional Omani treat made with flour, sugar, and spices. Finally, we'll return to Muscat, with plenty of memories and delicious food to savor.
This tour includes a private car that can accommodate up to 4 guests, as well as an English-speaking guide, breakfast, lunch, welcome amenities, water, snacks, and Omani halwa tasting. So come join us and discover the rich culinary traditions of Oman's mountains on this one-of-a-kind tour!
